This glamourus city was on our route, so we decided to visit it. Of corse we wanted to see the famous Vegas lights by night, so we tried to find a place to stay as close to downtown as possible. We found a spot on a run-down RV-Park – basically a parking lot with old bathrooms.
After a short Lyft-Ride we were in the middle of Vegas. Blinking LED-Screens, loud music, alcohol, old lady’s gambling for hours… the modern strip wasn’t the place to be for us. At least the Fountain of the Bellagio Hotel was as pretty as seen on screen.
The next Day we visited the Neon Museum and took part in a guided tour. We walked across this „Boneyard“ of Neon Lights and heard their stories. A little Highlight! After this tour we visited the old strip, were still a certain Neon-obligation exists. Freemont street was a lot more likable and we had some fun here.
Viva Las Vegas!
