All clean we start our day at the Niagara Falls. From far away we can already see the clouds of the Falls. It is just amazing how the earth suddenly opens up and these masses of water just falls down.
Of corse we are not alone and soon we were forced to leave our place in the first row. Tour-boats get as close as possible to the falls, zip-lines and gondolas cross the gorge and helicopters fly their lines above the falls.
You won’t be surprised that we left the Falls pretty soon and took the road to Niagara-on-the-Lakes. We cross a beautiful wine region and have great views of the gorge. Shortly before town we see a little sign and we just have to stop: the Mackenzie Heritage Printery Museum!
As graphic designer and daughter of a printer I don’t hesitate and Nick loves all mechanical machines, so we pack the camera. We get a great guided tour, can set our names with lead letters and even print with one of the machines. To us this museum was a juwel in the middle of all these tourist attractions.
